Alpha Gators:
This Veteran's Day this country is again embroiled in a
conflict that defends the freedoms we all cherish.
Though our time to endure the hell of war is past, we
still bear the name American. The fighters of today will
join our ranks of Veterans when their battles are over.
Hopefully, their fight will be short and without
casualties. Nevertheless, they will have gone in harm's
way and will earn the title of Veteran. As America
remembers us on this day, I want each of you to know
that service with each of you was the most rewarding
experience of my life. I salute you.

Ted Danielsen, C.O. 1965-66
